Frequently Asked Questions
No. You can bring your concrete saw directly into our Glen Eden workshop during opening hours. We'll assess it and contact you before completing any additional repairs.
Our service includes cleaning and inspection, replacement of standard service items, fuel and ignition checks, inspection of the starter, clutch and drive system, safety checks, engine tuning and a test cut to confirm performance.
Turnaround time depends on our currect workshop workload and whether any parts are required. We'll advise you of the expected timeframe when your saw is assessed.
Yes. We diagnose common starting and running problems, including ignition faults, fuel-system blockages, carburetor issues, low compression and damaged starter assemblies.
Yes. Loss of power or poor cutting performance can be caused by a blocked air filter, fuel-system issues, incorrect tuning, a worn drive belt, clutch problems, or a damaged cutting wheel. We'll inspect the machine and identify the cause.
The cutting wheel is inspected, but replacement wheels are not included in the standard service price. We'll contact you before fitting a new wheel if one is required.
No. The drive belt is inspected and its tension adjusted where appropriate. If it is worn or damaged, we'll provide a quote before replacing it.
Yes, subject to the make and model. Let us know which concrete saw you have so we can confirm parts and availability
You do not need to empty it. If possible, let us know how old the fuel is and whether the machine has been sitting unused, as this can help with diagnosis.
Service frequency depends on how heavily the saw is used and the conditions it operates in. Commercial saws exposed to concrete dust should be inspected and maintained regularly, rather than waiting for a fault to develop.
